Who's writing all this, and why.
Hi — I’m DevMello. I build software, and I write about it here while it’s still fresh enough to be honest about.
This site is two things stitched together:
- Writing — notes, essays and build logs. Mostly written mid-problem rather than after the victory lap, which makes them more useful and less flattering.
- Projects — the things themselves. What they are, what they’re for, and what I’d do differently.
Why write it down
Half of what I learn evaporates within a week if I don’t. The other half turns out to be wrong, and writing is the fastest way to find that out. Publishing raises the stakes just enough to make me check my work.
